Custom Calling Features
Call Waiting/Cancel Call Waiting
— When you are on the phone and someone else tries to
call you, you will hear a beep. You can put the person you
are talking to on hold and answer the other call. If you want
to place an uninterrupted call simply activate the Cancel
Call Waiting feature. Call Waiting automatically reactivates
when you hang up.
Alternate Line
Number — An additional telephone number with a
coded ring is added to an existing line. This feature will
allow a second party at the telephone location to identify
their individual ring. Great idea for teenagers!!
Call Forwarding —
Allow the customer to have all incoming calls automatically
transfered to any telephone number that you can direct dial.
There are two methods of call forwarding:

Fixed Call Forwarding — Allows you to transfer
your incoming calls to a set telephone number that you
have provided the telephone company. This call forwarded
number can only be changed by the telephone company.

Variable Call Forwarding — Allows you to
transfer your incoming calls to any telephone number that
you can direct dial.
Three-Way Calling —
Allows you to add a third party to your existing conversation.
8-Number Speed Calling
— Allows you to program 8 different telephone numbers
into memory. When you want to call one of those numbers in
memory, you simply dial the 1-digit position number.
30-Number Speed
Calling — Allows you to program 30 different telephone
numbers into memory. When you want to call one of those numbers
in memory, you simply dial the 2-digit position number.
Series Completion —
Allows you to forward an incoming call to another number or
voice mail if your line is busy or not answered.
Do Not Disturb — This
feature allows you to send all incoming calls to a recorded
announcement that states that you do not wish to accept calls
at the present time. Your phone will not ring when Do Not
Disturb is on unless your caller has been given your PIN (Personal
Identification Number). Callers having your current PIN may,
from a touch-tone phone, dial in this code during the recorded
announcement to ring through on your phone.
